📍 Zhao Baomei Dianxin (赵宝美点心店), Hangzhou ✨ On this trip to Hangzhou, we had the opportunity to stop by Zhao Baomei Dianxin, a small dim sum restaurant that has been open for over 30 years. It is located in Chengtou Lane. The atmosphere is simple and homey, but it is full of the original Hangzhou atmosphere. ✨The shop's signature menu is the fried spring onion buns (葱油生煎包), which are bite-sized, crispy on the bottom, chewy on the top, and filled with seasoned pork. It is even more delicious when eaten with black vinegar. There are also other menus such as Yangchun noodles, which are served with a rich and fragrant sauce, and wonton soup, which has a clear and delicious soup. ✨The shop opens from early morning until around 1:30 p.m. In the morning, the shop is packed with locals queuing up to buy take-away. The atmosphere is lively but friendly. ✨What impressed me was the simplicity and attention to the taste of the food. Even though it is a small shop, every menu is freshly made.
