Perfect Family Vacation at a Creekside Homestay

During the summer break, I wanted to take my child to a cool and fun place, and this homestay caught my eye immediately with its creek exploration activities. Located close to a stream, it turned out to be the perfect choice for our trip. 🏨 Homestay: The homestay is situated in Lin'an, Hangzhou, about an hour's drive from the city center. 🌆 Environment: Surrounded by lush mountains and clear waters, the air is filled with the refreshing scent of nature. Upon arrival, my child was instantly drawn to the stream at the entrance and the swimming pool at the homestay, eager to dive into the water. The stream has both shallow and deep areas, perfect for wading or swimming. The crystal-clear water feels cool and refreshing, instantly dispelling the summer heat as you step in barefoot. 🛏 Room Types: The homestay offers family rooms, king rooms, and twin rooms to cater to different needs. Families with children can opt for the family room, which comes with a specially prepared kids' bed and a play corner. The rooms are clean, well-equipped, and offer a view of lush greenery outside the window, making you feel like you're living in a fairytale forest. ⛺ Creek Exploration: The homestay provides free water guns, nets, and swimming rings. You can catch small fish and shrimp in the creek with your child or flip stones to find tiny crabs. The kids had a blast! When tired, we chilled our watermelon and drinks in the stream, turning it into a natural "fridge"—super refreshing and perfect for beating the heat! 🍩 Food: The homestay's farm-style dishes are absolutely amazing. The ingredients are fresh, and I highly recommend the bamboo forest free-range chicken, braised pork with dried bamboo shoots, and scallion oil bream. Breakfast includes steamed buns, porridge, and freshly made pickles, which were incredibly satisfying! 🏬 Nearby Attractions: The homestay is very close to Taihu Source Scenic Area, just an 8-9 minute drive. You can take your kids to see small animals while adults enjoy the mountain and water views. There’s also a nearby rafting activity for kids. Overall, this family creek exploration trip was truly wonderful.
