[Hue] The residence of the last Nguyen Dynasty Emperor Khai Dinh, the French-style An Dinh Palace

#Andinhpalace (Cung An Định) is located in Hue City, central Vietnam. It is a royal palace that combines Vietnamese and French architectural features. The French Baroque style still attracts tourists. It can be called the "Versailles Palace" of Vietnam. Emperor Khai Dinh, the last Vietnamese dynasty, renovated this place after he ascended the throne. It was between 1917 and 1919. The Qing Dynasty, which had been the suzerain state, was no longer as powerful as it once was. The power of the Republic of China was rising. On the Vietnamese side, the Nguyen Dynasty, like the Vietnamese land, was under French colonial rule and was humiliated as a puppet regime. Therefore, the Anding Palace surrounds the viewer with luxurious French carvings, and even the wallpaper imitates the patterns of the Palace of Versailles. The interior focuses on restoring the Fasese halls and rooms, as well as displaying some historical administrative documents and photos to introduce the residents.
