It turns out that when a hotel is too beautiful, it can drive people crazy! If you love taking photos, you won't be able to stop— seriously, you won’t. That feeling of not wanting to miss a single spot because it’s all so stunning? I’m sure fellow photo-loving ladies will understand. Stepping into the "River of Time," are you choosing a vacation or a challenge? Overnight, I’ve seen many posts warning against this hotel, claiming poor service, subpar experiences, and strong odors. As someone who’s stayed there, here’s my take: If this were a long-established hotel, these would indeed be deal-breakers. But it just opened, and rooms are selling out like crazy. Personally, I think these issues are forgivable. Honestly, at ¥299 per room voucher, it’s a steal. This hotel is perfect for those who love photography, design, or quirky experiences. If none of that appeals to you and you’re picky about accommodations, I’d skip it. Why are so many rushing to stay in a newly opened hotel, despite the formaldehyde concerns? I was drawn in by the aesthetic— and in person, it’s just as photogenic as the pictures, with every shot turning out great. I found it totally worth it and even stocked up on a voucher for a year-end revisit. The odor is strong, so I’d advise choosing a higher floor and sleeping with windows or balcony doors open. If you’ve bought a voucher but are worried about the smell, aim for a year-end booking. If you haven’t bought a voucher yet, maybe wait a year or two. Not into the hotel’s vibe or photography? Not recommended. But if you’re a photo-loving fairy, just go for it—what you see is what you get. So, are you still planning to visit?
