1-Day, 1-Night Experience in Izu | Omuroyama + Inatori Onsen Ryokan

📍First Stop in Izu: Omuroyama The drive from Lake Kawaguchi to Izu is quite long, but the scenery along the way is pleasant, making the drive relatively relaxing. Our first stop was Omuroyama. The summit features a perfectly round volcanic crater with spectacular views. Walking around the crater takes less than half an hour. However, be mindful of the weather—our initial plan was disrupted by rain the day before, but today’s clear skies made for stunning photos 📸! 📝 Tips: Try to visit earlier in the day when there are fewer people, making it easier to take great photos! ⸻ 🏨 Izu Accommodation Experience: Inatori-so The ryokan faces the Pacific Ocean, offering truly beautiful views. The private onsen in the room allows you to soak while enjoying the ocean scenery 🌅—very relaxing! The room is clean and spacious. Dinner is a traditional Japanese kaiseki meal with a wide variety of fresh ingredients. 💬 Worth mentioning: The staff’s English proficiency is not very strong, but we met a Taiwanese staff member who explained the dishes in Mandarin, which was super friendly 🧡. Overall, the ryokan is quite welcoming to foreign guests.
