It is located in the desert on the north bank of the Wuding River. The meaning of "Tongwan" is "to unify the world and rule over all nations." It was first built in the seventh year of Longsheng in the Xia Dynasty (413 AD). It was built by Helian Bobo, the leader of the Xiongnu Tiele tribe, who recruited more than 100,000 people of various ethnic groups north of the Qinling Mountains in six years. It has a history of 1,600 years. During this Spring Festival event, you can experience the traditional gaming experience and NPC immersive experience of Tongwancheng National Archaeological Site Park. The NPC immersive performance turns the museum into an "ancient world" that travels through time and space. NPCs dressed in ancient costumes take tourists on a wonderful journey to ancient times. Their acting skills are superb. Whether it is the kingly Helian Bobo or the elegant Fan Zhongyan, they make people feel as if they are in the prosperous era in history.
