The Grand Egyptian Museum

Visiting the Grand Egyptian Museum was one of the most memorable experiences of this trip. Although it hasn't officially opened yet, I was fortunate to enter during the pre-opening viewing. The interior was far larger than I had imagined. The sight of ancient artifacts displayed within a modern architectural space was truly overwhelming, giving a sense of coexistence between the past and the present. Especially impressive were Tutankhamun's golden mask and burial items, which were beautifully arranged in a dedicated space, allowing for a much deeper appreciation compared to before. The museum's layout was spacious and comfortable, making it easy to stroll leisurely and enjoy the exhibits. The structure also allows natural light to enter, creating a wonderful atmosphere. Above all, the view of the pyramids outside the museum added to the experience, making it feel less like a simple exhibition and more like the highlight of the trip.
