The most popular spot near Hanshin Department Store is the famous Longpao Soup Dumplings—a must-try delicacy. Tonight, I wasn’t hungry, so I wandered alone to Xintian Road near Hanshin Department Store, where freshly made and steamed soup dumplings are served. This shop has been around for over 20 years and attracts many tourists, especially Japanese visitors. Interestingly, they enjoy the soup dumplings with beer instead of soup 🍺. My personal favorite is the Wuxi-style Pork Rib Noodles. The ribs are marinated, fried, and then steamed, making them tender, flavorful, and soft—absolutely delicious 😋. The noodles are chewy and springy, and adding black vinegar enhances the taste even more 😋. Pairing it with a bowl of herbal chicken soup makes for a nutritious and tasty meal. To finish, I recommend the brown sugar sweet potato balls—they’re incredibly delicious. The staff here are warm, friendly, and welcoming, with smiles that make you feel at home. This is truly an excellent restaurant worth recommending to everyone.
