A royal gardens

Designed and built in 1575 for the arrival of one of England’s most famous monarchs, Elizabeth the first the gardens at Kenilworth Castle in Warwickshire are a site to behold. With the incredible backdrop of the castle itself in the background the gardens are an ornate collection of flowers best viewed during the spring bloom in addition to some fantastic statues and water features, topped off by an aviary are the far end. #aprilblooms #gardens #castle
