Phraiwan Waterfall 💧

This is "Phraiwan Waterfall," the ultimate nature lover's check-in spot in Kong Ra, Phatthalung! It's the largest limestone waterfall in the province, cascading down from a cliff about 70 meters high. Nature enthusiasts will be thrilled to know it has seven tiers, but for chill Gen Z folks like us, just exploring the first tier is already amazing. It's easily accessible with just a short walk, allowing you to enjoy "crystal-clear water" without the need to climb steep cliffs. 🌿 Why is it a must-visit? • Water flows all year round, even during the hot season. • Surrounded by lush forests, offering a serene and relaxing atmosphere. • Beautiful rock formations perfect for cool Instagram-worthy photos. • Convenient facilities including restaurants, beverage stalls, and parking spaces. 🚗 Getting there is super easy: • From Phatthalung, drive along Phetkasem Road and take Route 4122 for about 30 km, then follow the signs for another 3 km to reach the waterfall. • If you don’t have a private car, there are shared taxis to the waterfall. The pick-up point is near Phatthalung Railway Station, operating from 7 AM to 5 PM (last ride at 3 PM). ⚠️ A few rules to keep in mind: • Playing in the first tier is the safest as the water flows strongly from above. • Keep the area clean; don’t leave trash behind. • Do not catch aquatic animals or remove rocks and plants. • Avoid making loud noises that disturb the natural environment.
