The Qianhu Miao Village in Guizhou is worth a visit

The scenery of the Miao Village is beautiful, with closely connected yet staggered buildings, large terraced fields, and a cool climate after the rain that day. The yellow rice, brown Miao Village, green mountains, and the misty clouds create a richly layered picture, and any casual photo looks like a masterpiece. Walking through the Miao Village, it feels like 70% of the shops are for photography and costume rental, 20% are various homestays, and the remaining are restaurants and others. Now there are not so many tourists, but you can see people everywhere taking photos in Miao costumes, giving the illusion that tourism is now more about taking photos. The original Miao people are not seen much, and I wonder if the commercialization of the Miao Village has changed their lives. Besides the main roads, there are also some small paths and narrow alleys that are quite dark at night without lights. Following the navigation is very accurate, and it can guide you to the place you want to go. We stayed at the Nanshan She Homestay, which we walked to from the west gate because the queue for the sightseeing bus was too long. Actually, it's a bit far to the homestay, but fortunately, it's easier to walk downhill with suitcases. The terrain here is relatively high, and you can see the panoramic view of the Miao Village from the rooftop, with distinct characteristics during the day and night. Took some landscape photos, marking our visit. Transportation within the Miao Village is mainly on foot, and when leaving the village, it's best to ask the homestay owner for directions to avoid taking the wrong path. There is a bus from the Miao Village directly to Kaili South at the Great North Gate, which requires buying tickets in advance. It costs 18 yuan per person and takes about 50 minutes to reach the high-speed train station.
