Every time I come to Okinawa, I can't help but go back to Kokusai-dori. This 1.6-kilometer-long street is known as the Ginza of Okinawa. Whether it's your first time here or a return visit, I always feel like it's very lively from morning to night~ The whole street is full of 🍱 Okinawan cuisine restaurant (must try pork and egg rice balls, Okinawan noodles!) 🍦 Special desserts and snacks (brown sugar ice cream, taro soft serve ice cream, delicious and filling) 🎁 Souvenirs, handmade sundries, and Ryukyu-style clothing are also everywhere~ Kokusai-dori is lit up with neon lights at night, which is very atmospheric🌇 You can also explore the side alleys, such as Heiwa-dori and Shijo Hon-dori, which have a full sense of Okinawa. If you have time, it is recommended to start from the end of the monorail Makishi Station and walk slowly. You will reach the Kenchomae Station at the end. The whole tour takes about 2 hours.
