Traveling through history, a trip to Ogaki Castle (Local Museum) 🏯🎎

Walking into the [Local Museum] around Ogaki Castle Park is like opening a history book that records the city's memories in detail. Although this museum is not large, it contains rich festival culture and the life of the Ogaki area, which makes me, a traveler, have a deeper understanding of Gifu, the water city. I especially like the special area in the museum that introduces the "Ogaki Festival" - this traditional festival with a history of 380 years, which is held in May every year. Twelve luxurious "Yatai" (floats) take turns to appear, accompanied by the "mechanical human performance" handed down from the Edo period, which is gorgeous and has folk customs. The local museum displays real models and precious images, making people feel like they are there.
