Osaka… This city is cuter than I thought 🐙💗 If we talk about a city that we traveled to without expecting much But ended up falling in love with until we couldn't pull out… Osaka is that city. I don't know why, even though it doesn't have a towering volcano It doesn't have a world-class amusement park on every corner It's not as luxurious as other cities But every step we take, there is always "a little bit of cuteness" Waiting for us 💕 A warm city that doesn't need to be explained A city where everyone smiles at each other easily A city where the food is so delicious that you want to bring 3 more stomachs Osaka teaches us that "happiness doesn't have to be big" Sometimes it's hidden in cat-faced bread or takoyaki by the canal 🍙🐾 ⸻ 🌿 Osaka Castle – A classic that is still soft Let's start our trip with a very basic place but better than expected... That is "Osaka Castle" or Osaka Castle 💚 This is a landmark that many people may think that "I have to come" But when we actually walked in, it felt much more than expected. A wide walkway surrounded by green trees A cool Japanese breeze blows A man riding a bicycle passes by A dog wearing a strawberry sweater runs around Everything looks ordinary but so cute 🥹 The castle is located on a large stone base Surrounded by a clear blue moat We slowly climb the stairs one floor at a time Until we reach the top floor, which is an observation deck From there, you can see the whole city of Osaka Gardens, buildings, streets, and the gentle wind blowing through your hair Before going back, we stopped by a small shop next door to buy some red bean mochi After taking a bite, we exclaimed “So delicious!” It’s not a fancy taste, but it makes your heart flutter in a strange way 🍡 ⸻ 🍢 Dotonbori – A street of delicious food that makes your heart flutter If you love food… you will definitely love Osaka And if we’re talking about the area with the most delicious food It has to be “Dotonbori”! We arrived here in the evening The lights started to turn on The fragrant smell of takoyaki wafted from afar People were talking in a mix of Japanese, Chinese and Korean It was a warm and lively atmosphere, not chaotic Like a festival held every day 🎉 The must-try menu items are 🐙 Takoyaki – Round balls sprinkled with jiggly dried fish 🥬 Okonomiyaki – Japanese-style pancakes packed with ingredients 🍜 Ramen – Rich and aromatic soup, melt-in-your-mouth pork 🍡 Skewered sweets – Authentic Japanese sweet and salty While walking and eating, we stopped to take a picture with the “Glico” sign If you don’t post a running pose, it’s like you haven’t been to Osaka! 🏃♀️ The laughter of tourists, along with the lights reflecting off the water in the canal It made our hearts light up like that billboard ⸻ 🐧 Kaiyukan – The warmest aquarium in the three worlds Another place I highly recommend is “Kaiyukan” A large aquarium that takes us on a journey into the underwater world The main aquarium in the middle is huge!!! We spent time watching the “whale sharks” swim calmly and suddenly smiled when we saw the glowing jellyfish fluttering in the water There were sea otters rolling on their backs Penguins that were toddling around like toddlers and tiny Nemo fish that swam up to greet us The soft music playing The dim lights and the blue sea around made us want to freeze time for a long time If you are tired… Come to Kaiyukan and you will feel that “The world is always beautiful” 🐠🫧🌊 ⸻ 👜 Shinsaibashi & Amerikamura – A world for people who love cute things If you like knickknacks, cute cafes or vintage fashion you have to come to “Shinsaibashi”! We shopped from morning till afternoon We found a cat sticker shop A shop selling hand-embroidered cloth bags A bakery where bread has a dog face And a second-hand clothing store that is so good for the heart 🧺💕 Walk a little further and you will find “Amerikamura” The atmosphere here is very hip! I had a Japanese friend walking by wearing street style There are cool painted walls for taking pictures A strange cafe that sells purple latte and galaxy cheesecake It is a very free area. Walking around gives you encouragement Because everyone seems to be “their own selves” and is cute in their own way 🧃🎨 ⸻ 🚇 Traveling is easy like having a friend to take you around For those who are afraid of getting lost or having difficulty traveling in Osaka Let me tell you that it is very easy~ 🩵 IC cards such as Icoca or Kansai Pass can be used to take trains all over the city The train station has English The signs are clear And most importantly, Japanese people are “super kind” One day we were confused at the ticket machine Standing there for less than a minute A lady came in and helped us press the button And he even smiled and said "Have fun!" when he left 🥺 Osaka has become a city where "Even if I walk alone... I never feel lonely" 🚉 ⸻ 🍰 Small snacks that make your heart swell Osaka is not only the city of takoyaki but also a paradise for cute desserts! We found a bakery with bread shaped like three pigs A pudding shop that is served in a bottle with a bear pattern Rich green tea soft serve with mochi And Japanese sweets like wagashi that are so cute that you don't dare to eat them 🍡🍮🧁 What impressed me was that even the sweets from convenience stores are delicious Whether it's boxed sushi, rice balls, sweet eggs I never get tired of eating them Osaka is like magic Everything you put in your mouth is delicious... It's so satisfying that you don't need to add anything 🧸🍴 ⸻ 💌 Conclusion - Osaka is a simple city that makes our hearts beat fast We know that Japan has more magnificent cities and more places to visit but Osaka has the kind of “warmth” that doesn’t need to be embellished It’s a city where we feel safe wherever we go Where everyone smiles at each other like we’ve known each other for a long time Where Takoyaki makes us feel like we’re still kids And where the cool breeze along the canal makes us want to stay there for as long as possible Osaka isn’t the most amazing city But it’s easily the city that we “miss the most” 💖 #Osaka #TravelAbroad
