Japan Travel Review Osaka — A city full of fun, deliciousness, and cuteness! 💖🍡🍜 Hello everyone~ Today, Boom will take you to Osaka, a lovely city full of smiles, delicious food, and fun tourist attractions in a truly Japanese style. Let's get ready together! ⸻ Day 1: Explore Dotonbori — Lights and food that melt your heart After landing at Kansai Airport, Boom immediately packed her bags and headed into the city. Our first destination was Dotonbori, a very popular area in Osaka filled with beautiful neon lights and amazing food. As we walked out of the train station, we saw a Glico sign greeting us with its cuteness. The atmosphere was lively and the smell of food wafted into our noses. Boom walked around looking for Osaka's famous food, which was takoyaki, a crispy outside, soft inside dough with large pieces of squid, topped with a special sauce and mayonnaise. So delicious that we had to queue for several more trays. In addition, there is also Okonomiyaki, a dough mixed with vegetables and meat. Topped with sweet and fragrant sauce, the more you eat, the more you will love it. It's like eating the warmth of Japanese culture in a gentle way. Walking along the street, I found a cute dessert shop. Authentic Japanese style, sweet-colored mochi in the shape of cherry blossoms. The staff also smiled sweetly. It felt very cute and warm. ⸻ Day 2: Kuromon Market and Shinsaibashi — Shop for cute snacks and souvenirs This morning, Boom started at Kuromon Market, a famous fresh market in Osaka. It is full of fresh, colorful seafood and clean, fresh fruits and vegetables. Boom tried small, fresh sushi pieces. It was very delicious. The sauce was thick and delicious. I also got to try grilled shrimp that was very fresh. The taste was just the right amount of salty and sweet. It made my heart flutter. Continue walking to Shinsaibashi, the most popular shopping area in Osaka. There are many beautiful shops and stylish cafes. Boom bought cute souvenirs, such as dolls, mochi, and Japanese cosmetics. It was so cute that my heart melted. There is also a modern Japanese-style cafe where you can stop by to rest. Boom sat and sipped hot green tea in a warm atmosphere, feeling relaxed and recharged. ⸻ Day Three: Universal Studios Japan — A paradise for movie lovers and extreme fun The third day was the most exciting day for Boom because we were going to Universal Studios Japan (USJ), the largest movie-themed theme park in Osaka. Starting with the Harry Potter zone, it felt like we were really transported to a magical world. We walked around Hogsmeade Alley, tried sweet butterbeer, with soft foam, and played the Flying Hippogriff ride, which was super fun. There was also the Mario Kart zone where you could race your favorite cartoon characters, which was super fun. There were also cute character-shaped snacks, such as Minion popcorn, that made Boom's heart melt from the cuteness. ⸻ Day Four: Osaka Castle and the Super Cute Cat Cafe Today, Boom went to Osaka Castle, an important symbol of this city. The surrounding area is very beautiful, especially during the fall when the leaves were changing color, when we saw orange and red trees everywhere. Walk up to see the city view from the top of the castle, take beautiful photos with cherry blossoms, and a panoramic view of the city. Photography enthusiasts will definitely love it. Then Boom went to Nakazakicho, a neighborhood full of cute cafes. Boom chose to sit at a cat cafe. The cats were very fluffy and played with the customers in a friendly manner. I sipped green tea while I was sitting. It felt warm and homey. ⸻ Day 5: Tenjinbashi Market and walked around preparing to go home On the last day, Boom went to Tenjinbashisuji Shotengai Market, the longest community market in Japan. The atmosphere is warm and there are many restaurants selling snacks and souvenirs. Boom tried Japanese fried crispy snacks and bought real green tea to take home. It felt like I was really experiencing the life of Japanese people. Before boarding the plane to go home, Boom sat and sipped coffee by the Osaka River. Thinking back to the happiness I had on this trip, I felt full of good memories that I want to keep forever. ⸻ Summary of my impressions Osaka is a city that has everything: fun, delicious food, authentic Japanese culture, and the cuteness of the people.
