Paris Marais Half Day Tour & Local Red Boy Market

The Marché Couvert des Enfants Rouges, translated as Red Children's Market, is the oldest covered market in Paris ("Marché couvert"), a niche food paradise that combines history, flavors and community vitality, located in the 3rd arrondissement in the heart of the Marais district. This area is where only locals go. This time we mainly went to the market, but there are many stylish shops and delicious food around. We walked all the way from the market to the Pompidou Museum. The market is not big, but it is very convenient with an awning. There is also a small circle of vendors outside, where we bought some super nice work clothes. The market mainly sells food from various countries, including Japan, France, Morocco, etc. Every business is very good ~ and the prices are very affordable. I recommend the oyster shop and Italian pasta in the market! The portions are huge and fresh! We walked out of the market and visited the internet-famous store Merci. Its eco-friendly bags are very popular. There are also many French niche brands around it. You can find interesting stores by walking around. Then we went to a coffee shop opened by a Taiwanese in Laïzé Sainte-Avoye, which also sells pineapple cakes! There is also the internet-famous coffee shop Maurice Café and its waffles! Finally we went to the Pompidou Museum, which was about to be closed for renovation! It’s a good time to go in and take a look. There is also a secret garden on the top floor.
