Review of a trip to Sanssouci Palace

“Sanssouci Palace” in Potsdam, near Berlin, just 40–50 minutes by train, it feels like you’ve been transported back to old Europe. This palace was once the summer residence of King Frederick the Great. It’s not as big as other palaces, but it has its own charm. The yellow Rococo-style palace is on a hill with terraced gardens planted with grapes, contrasting with the sky and making for a great photo opportunity. Walking around, you’ll find the Neues Palais, a Chinese teahouse (Chinesisches Haus), and an endless garden. If the weather is nice, you’ll see tourists sitting on mats, reading books, and sipping coffee. The atmosphere is great.
