Cherry Blossom Season at Zhongshan Park, Qingdao

Zhongshan Park is the largest comprehensive park in Qingdao, featuring nearly 170 species of plants and trees from around the world. Among them, the 20,000 cherry blossom trees transplanted from Japan are the most distinctive. Right in front of the main entrance lies the famous Cherry Blossom Avenue, a stunning cherry blossom corridor. Every mid-April (depending on the annual blooming period), the park hosts its annual Cherry Blossom Festival. The light pink single-petal cherry blossoms and pale red double-petal cherry blossoms bloom on the branches, complemented by the surrounding white pear blossoms, deep pink peach blossoms, and the later-introduced Dutch tulips, which bloom in large clusters, adding even more charm to the park.
