Riomaggiore day trip 🇮🇹

#italytrip Spent a day in Riomaggiore, one of the beautiful villages in Cinque Terre, and it was like stepping into a postcard! The train from La Spezia was just a few euros, and once you arrive, you're greeted by colorful houses stacked on the cliffs overlooking the sea 🌊🏘️. There’s no entrance fee to the village itself, but if you want to hike the trails between the villages, you'll need a Cinque Terre Trekking Card, which costs around €7.50. We started with a walk down to the harbor, where the boats and crystal-clear waters made for some stunning photos. For lunch, we grabbed some fresh seafood at a little trattoria overlooking the water – the anchovies and pesto pasta were incredible 🍝🐟. Then, we strolled through the narrow, winding streets, checking out the local shops selling everything from ceramics to lemon-themed souvenirs. The Via dell'Amore trail was unfortunately closed, but we still enjoyed hiking a bit up the hillside for some incredible views of the village and the sea. If you have time, take a dip in the harbor or just relax on the rocks and soak up the sun. Riomaggiore is a perfect mix of relaxation and adventure, with that authentic Italian charm.
