Hiking Feels, Sabah. Worth the Sweat

#springitinerary Just wrapped up a spring hike at Aki Aki Trail in Sabah and honestly, it was such a good time. The trail’s beginner-friendly, so don’t worry if you’re not super athletic, you’ll manage just fine. It starts off pretty flat and gets steeper halfway, but nothing too crazy. Along the way, the air was cool and fresh, and the forest vibes? Super calming. There are a couple of small waterfalls and shady spots that are perfect for taking breaks or snapping some aesthetic shots. The trail isn’t too crowded, so it feels peaceful, just you, nature, and good vibes. Definitely bring water, snacks, and wear decent shoes, especially if it rained the day before. Mud’s no joke. Took us about 2-3 hours round trip with chill breaks. Aki Aki is perfect for a light adventure this spring, confirm best for those wanting a bit of sweat and a lot of peace.
