Phra That Dum

Wat Phra That Dum, Sakon Nakhon Province is an important historical site with ancient Khmer architecture. Phra That Dum is a unique brick prang. There were originally three prangs on the same base, facing east. Currently, only one remains. The prang has a lintel carved with an image of Narayana reclining on the ocean and an image of a deity riding a vehicle above the face of Kala, which is a characteristic of Bapuan Khmer art.
