Inca Bath

[Inca Bath] was a place for the Inca to bathe. See the six open-air bathrooms in photo 3. Legend has it that before meeting the Inca king, one must bathe in the holy water here, then sleep one night at Sacsayhuaman (a military fortress), before going to the capital of Cusco (Plaza de Armas) to meet the king. Water was scarce and the journey was long. Photo 5 shows a beacon tower from the war period.
