Despite being the world’s smallest country, it’s packed with some of the grandest treasures I’ve ever seen. We began at the Vatican Museums — it’s impossible to describe the scale and beauty inside. Every corridor is a gallery, every ceiling a canvas. Of course, the highlight was the Sistine Chapel. Seeing Michelangelo’s masterpiece with my own eyes was surreal — no photos allowed, but it’s forever etched in my memory. St. Peter’s Basilica was equally unforgettable, both from the ground and the dome. We lingered at St. Peter’s Square, soaking in the atmosphere and watching people from around the world gather in awe. A day in Vatican City is both a cultural and spiritual journey.
