The scenery outside the car window transitions from quaint villages to dense forests. As the entrance to the gorge comes into view, I knew an extraordinary adventure was about to begin. Shimen Gorge feels like a forgotten paradise, quietly narrating the stories of nature. 🌳 Walking into the gorge is like stepping into another world. Beneath your feet lies a winding stone path, flanked by towering ancient trees that block out the sun. Rays of sunlight filter through the leaves, creating patches of golden light. Taking a deep breath, the air is rich with negative ions, instantly washing away urban fatigue. The sound of trickling streams fills the air, like a symphony composed by nature. 💦 The water in the gorge is the most enchanting spirit. Following the stream, the water alternates between calm and rapid flows. In that moment, you feel like a bird freely gliding through the sky. Body rafting is the most relaxing experience—lying back in the cool stream, drifting gently with the current, gazing at the blue sky and white clouds, feeling the breeze on your face. All stress is carried away by the gentle flow, leaving you completely refreshed. 🍱 After a day of fun, find a spot by the stream to enjoy a delicious picnic. The mountain delicacies here are infused with the flavors of nature.
