"Rebirth of Armenia" Monument and Eternal Memorial Altar: Yerevan's landmark buildings, feel the weight of history

Commemorates the 1.5 million Armenians killed by the Ottoman Empire in World War I. The 44-meter-high "Rebirth of Armenia" monument pierces the sky like a sharp sword. The Eternal Memorial Altar consists of 12 sloping memorial walls surrounding the torch, which means remembering and mourning. In the middle of the memorial altar is an eternal fire burning🔥 to keep vigil for the 1.5 million people who died that year. On the northwest side is a stone wall one hundred meters long, on which are engraved the names of the towns where Armenia was expelled. No matter where you are from, when you come to Yerevan, you can come and see the monument to the rebirth of Armenia.
