Why are you going to Monkey Forest?_? The staff told me not to put fruit on the terrace, but... I saw foreigners in the next room below feeding fruit to monkeys, so I put bananas on the terrace, and soon the monkeys came crowding around.ㅎㅎ The accommodation was nice because it was all green and natural, but if you like a clean and sophisticated atmosphere, I wouldn't recommend it! I was very satisfied with the natural atmosphere, the view of the lush forest, the delicious food, and the cool infinity pool :)

The chill atmosphere is better than those Internet-famous bars in Canggu. - 🍹From afternoon to evening, feel the pleasant atmosphere of Bali. It offers Western-style light meals and alcoholic beverages, making it a one-stop shop for eating, drinking, and having fun. The front row of ocean view sofas has a minimum spend, which is cheaper than in Canggu. - 🥛I came and sat for a while in the afternoon because I was going to have a buffet in the evening. We ate until dinner. Balinese food is not much different from Thai food. They use some spices that you may not be familiar with, or some are similar to southern Thai food. The taste is well-rounded and delicious. We like the hotel's mi goreng. It smells delicious and goes well with their chili paste. It's similar to nam prik ong and nam prik num, but not too spicy.

There are two things about the hotel that particularly impressed me: first, the staff are very warm and friendly, and they understand the guests' preferences and needs as if they were chatting with friends, rather than having a template-based work attitude; second, after the staff introduced all the hotel information to me, they asked me if I had any questions. I said I wanted two more bottles of water in the room, but during the three days I stayed there, they would put several extra bottles in the room after cleaning every day. 🏨When checking in, the staff will give you a booklet listing the different activities every day of the week, such as morning yoga, etc., as well as free photo taking services. 🍴The hotel offers local specialties and Western restaurants. Breakfast is served at a local restaurant, some are buffet style and some are ordered, with different dishes every day. I also tried the hotel's meals for dinner, which were not disappointing and the prices were reasonable. 🚗The hotel provides free bicycles. The shuttle bus runs between the hotel and Ubud town at fixed times. 💆The spa is also good, the environment is great, and there are many types to choose from. I had a 90-minute Balinese massage, which cost about RMB 500. The hotel is very primitive, and you can often see groups of monkeys next to the infinity pool🐒, but don't worry, they are all very friendly. The second day of our stay was New Year's Eve. The hotel specially prepared a themed dinner (at your own expense) to celebrate the Chinese New Year. When we arrived at the hotel, we were taken to the front desk, which was an elegant building. The front desk staff were friendly and offered us a special cold drink while checking our reservation information. We booked a basic apartment room but were upgraded to a one-bedroom villa in the canyon, which was a pleasant surprise. After checking in, the staff drove us to our room. The hotel is divided into two areas: one is close to the front desk and restaurant, with basic apartment rooms and villas; the other is a pure villa area closer to the hotel entrance. I stayed in the latter, and the room was very spacious, about 70 square meters, with a large terrace and shower area. The huge king bed and window-side couch, along with the Balinese-style rattan decorations, created a romantic atmosphere. The night was very quiet, with only the sound of birds and cicadas. The breakfast was rich and varied, with a la carte options. I especially liked the bread and detox drinks. There is a monkey forest and many other interesting experiences nearby. During our stay, we enjoyed the infinity pool, rich breakfast, and excellent service every day. This is truly a resort worth visiting multiple times.

Last month, we went to Alila Ubud in Payangan, a hidden gem in nature. The road to Ubud was a bit congested, but the driver was chatty and interesting. It took about an hour to drive from the city, but it didn't feel long at all. We were amazed by the beautiful scenery as soon as we arrived at Alila Ubud. The car drove directly to the front desk, and the butler warmly welcomed us to check in. The front desk recognized my World of Hyatt membership and upgraded our room to a Valley Villa for free. The whole process was smooth and thoughtful. The signature cold drinks in the lounge were refreshing. 🌿 The butler took us to the room by buggy, which was located in the modern villa area of the hotel. We were amazed by the spacious 70-square-meter space as soon as we entered. The outdoor terrace, large king bed, and window couch were a dreamy experience. It was a place to completely relax, with endless jungle outside the window and the sound of birds and cicadas, making you feel completely isolated from the world. The bathroom had great lighting with floor-to-ceiling windows and was full of Balinese decorations. The breakfast at Alila Ubud was also unforgettable, with a la carte options and delicious bread and detox drinks. The seats near the valley were especially enjoyable, with the cool morning breeze and warm sunshine. Lunch at the poolside restaurant was simple with a sandwich and coffee, followed by a Balinese cultural feast organized by the hotel, which was healing. The iconic infinity pool was my favorite, with stunning views and monkeys playing around. Staying at the hotel for a long time was relaxing and fun, just be careful of the mischievous monkeys. You can also enjoy free afternoon tea snacks by the pool in the afternoon. The spa area was located on the hillside of the hotel, and it felt very peaceful when passing by. The staff were friendly and you could try their products, which was very warm. There were also many fun places near the hotel. I recommend renting a bike from the hotel to see the rice fields and have a quiet coffee at a nearby cafe. The hotel also provided three shuttle buses to and from Ubud Palace every day, which was very convenient. Just make sure to plan your time well so you don't miss it. The hotel was not perfect. For example, the pool water was relatively cold, the gym was dark, and the facilities were old. Although there were shuttle buses, it was inconvenient to travel at night. However, these small regrets did not affect the overall wonderful experience. Overall, Alila Ubud was a very special experience in Bali, suitable for those who want to escape the hustle and bustle of the city and enjoy nature. 🌿

Ubud's most beautiful infinity pool and the cutest little monkeys🙊👙🌴☀️Hyatt's Alila in Ubud has a hotel, which I booked for two nights with points. I was a bit apprehensive before coming because the Google reviews were mixed. Pool ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ The infinity pool in the forest is really beautiful! It's super photogenic, especially at sunset! The pool is 2m at its deepest, but there are places to stand on the side, the water temperature is not cold or hot, it feels like you can soak in the water all day🙊 Monkeys🐒⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ What I was most looking forward to before coming was seeing monkeys near the hotel in the reviews! We suddenly looked up during afternoon tea and saw a large family of monkeys passing by the pool. In the morning, we heard a noise outside the door, a monkey knocked over the cup outside, I fed two bananas🍌 and suddenly a group of monkeys appeared in the front yard trying to open the door, we hid in the room and interacted with them. A monkey even took the pillow on the balcony, opened the zipper, found no food and left, it was really cute! Room⭐️⭐️⭐️ The room is average, we booked a standard room with points and were upgraded to deluxe. Both the bathtub and shower are outdoors, I was afraid of bugs so I didn't use the bathtub, but the design is very beautiful. The room is not big, the balcony is in front of a small road so hotel guests/staff can see the room when they pass by. But the hotel has turn down service, they will help us pull up the curtains in the afternoon/evening. Restaurant⭐️⭐️⭐️ The restaurants are all outdoors. The breakfast restaurant is on the pool floor, it's a la carte. The menu is different every day, if you eat a lot for breakfast, I suggest booking a room with breakfast, if the price is not outrageous (I am a Hyatt member so breakfast is free). If you don't usually eat breakfast, I don't recommend it, everything on the menu can be ordered separately. The restaurant next to the pool downstairs is for lunch and dinner, the choices are not many, but the sunset pool view is super beautiful. Service⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ The service in Bali is generally very good, the service here is unbeatable compared to Sydney, but there is still room for improvement compared to other hotels on the island. When you check in, they will give you cold towels and two welcome drinks (it feels like sugar water, not very good), the hotel has a shuttle bus to and from Ubud city center, but it leaves on time, even one minute late is not acceptable. Others⭐️⭐️⭐️ There are so many bugs/mosquitoes! My partner's leg was bitten by 10 packs haha his first thing every day is to spray insect repellent. The hotel front desk and restaurant also provide insect repellent body lotion, you can ask them directly. The room has mosquito coils, I don't know if it works. The hotel is very remote, it's not convenient to walk, you have to book a car to go out. There is afternoon tea in the afternoon, and a free professional photo, I didn't use it🥲 I don't know if it's a member benefit Overall, the hotel is worth a visit, maybe booking a villa would be better. The little monkeys and the pool are the features. I don't recommend staying for a long time.

Bali Andashi If the garden of the Bali Hyatt is only big, then the guest rooms of this Andaz are enveloped in the rainforest. The hotel introduction says that 95% of the original vegetation was preserved during the construction of the hotel, so although this hotel opened in 2021, the vegetation density is already greater than that of the Hyatt and even Ubud Alila. Andaz is undoubtedly the best choice of this Bali trip (I checked in at Hyatt Regency, Amanusa, Alila Ubud and Andaz). Apart from being a bit expensive, the only downside of Andaz is the lack of a night bed service gift. Also note that because Andaz and the neighboring Hyatt have the same owner, all dining and spa services can be cross-redeemed. For example, if you stay at Andaz and dine at the neighboring Hyatt, you can still earn points for Andaz.
