As the capital of Switzerland, Bern has a lively yet deserted feeling. After we came out of the Bern train station, we found a bus to the B&B where we were staying. The B&B was actually not far from the city center, but there were fewer and fewer people there. The next day we set out for the city center and got off the bus when we saw a crowded place, but unexpectedly we had delicious pasta. After eating, we walked along the street. The first place we arrived was the Bear Park. Then we strolled around the central street. Finally, we watched the unique night view of Bern in the public square at night. #goout

#europetrip 📍Bern Bear Pit, Bern, Switzerland The city of Bern, also known as the city of bears and bears appeared on the flags, water fountains and buildings in Berne. Besides, there is also tours for bear spotting in the public bear park in Berne! It was winter during our visit and we did not get to spot any bears around the area back then. Barenpark (bear park) is pretty walkable from the old town across the bridge, and we were greeted by the stunning view of Bern city and the Aare River. The river was glistening and shimmering in emerald blue, the buildings, bridges and architectures were all beautiful and mesmerising. Worth a visit for every visitors visiting Berne!

This park is really beautiful and in a great location close to the old town and right on the river. The elevator gives you great views of the river baths from every direction, and if you’re lucky you might even spot bears in a huge, expansive enclosure. It really was a peaceful, natural setting (compared to a zoo) for this small group of three bears. They can climb mountains and rocks, they can eat berries... they even have a small lake so they can fish.
