[2025 Budapest Attraction] Travel Guide for Buda Castle (Updated May)

The airfare is about 31K Budapest, the capital of Hungary It is really a country where you can experience the European tourism atmosphere at a low cost. Although there has been some inflation and prices have risen a bit since the epidemic But compared to the cost in countries like France, Italy, etc. But it is much less! The Airbnb we stayed in Budapest this time was located opposite the Hungarian Parliament Building. Every time you get up early and at night, you can enjoy the super beautiful Capitol Building It is recommended that you buy a Budapest Card when you come to Budapest. This card allows free rides on subways, streetcars, buses, and many museums. The most worthwhile thing I think is that each card comes with a free cruise This is really a must experience! It’s so beautiful to sit on the boat and watch the Capitol at sunset and at night! If you have extra money, I recommend you go to other boats at your own expense to have free drinks. Or take a dinner cruise and have dinner while looking at the Capitol Building, which is more atmospheric! This time we traveled independently for 11 days and the total cost was about 60K! We cooked breakfast and dinner at Airbnb and had lunch at a restaurant outside. Eating out in Europe is more expensive. A meal for four people costs about 1,000 to 2,000 Taiwan dollars. If it is off-season, transfer from China The airfare is about 13K The cost can be reduced further to around 45K! Early morning is definitely the best time to head your way to Buda Castle. I arrived (when it was raining) by 8am and there were around 10 other people there only. As I was finishing up taking photos and heading to the St Matthias area, large groups were appearing and the rain had started to subside. To get there, I took one of the local buses from the just beside my City Centre hotel - really quick and easy. Starting at the base of Fisherman’s Bastion, I walked up the steps and entered the courtyard of views. Here you can easily take photos of the city. I will admit, because I was there early I couldn’t see inside the buildings, it also meant that apart from my bus journey (and funicular ride) I didn’t pay anything to see the view and the whole area. #mountainview #europetravel #budacastle #Budapest

Budapest is located on the banks of the Danube River (originally the water of the Danube and the Huangpu River are similar in turbidity), formed by the merger of Buda on the west bank of the Danube and Pest on the east bank. The famous Fisherman's Bastion and Buda Castle are on the Buda side, while the east bank has the Parliament Building and more abundant leisure and entertainment venues. Attractions Fisherman's Bastion, Buda Castle Hungarian Parliament Building, Citadella, a recommended attraction by locals, Danube River cruise | Recommended Legenda Cruise. Budapest: Evening Sightseeing Cruise and Unlimited Prosecco (1.5 hours). If you want to see the night view of the Parliament Building, it's best to book a few days in advance. We booked for 5:30 pm to watch the sunset, and both sides of the river were covered in golden light. Everyone on the boat was having a great time and the atmosphere was super fun, hahaha. These scenic spots have a lot of tourists! So if you want to take beautiful photos, sisters are advised to go early. You may need to go to Fisherman's Wharf at seven or eight o'clock to avoid crowds in the restaurant. Béchamel This breakfast is really delicious! We ate here for two consecutive days and recommend the Turkish Eggs and Croque Madame. Budapest has too many delicious foods, almost no chance of disappointment, and the prices are very cheap! Transportation Bolt taxi app allows cash payment without card binding. Payment; calling a car is very convenient, basically arriving in two or three minutes; the price is not expensive, and if you don't live too far away, it's only a few euros to go to various scenic spots. BudapestGO public transportation can be used with this app. Budapest doesn't need too much planning, the distance between attractions is close, and it's beautiful to walk around everywhere! Buda Castle sits on the southern tip of Castle Hill, surrounded by the touristic area known as Várnegyed (Castle Quarter), which is famous for medieval, Baroque and Neoclassical houses, churches, public buildings, and monuments. The hill is linked to Clark Ádám Square and the Széchenyi Chain Bridge by the Castle Hill Funicular. The castle is a part of the Budapest World Heritage Site, so declared in 1987. Self-driving and renting a car - Many people in Europe do this and it is also recommended 4. You will see a small shuttle bus at the airport counter. When there are enough people, we can start the trip! Finally, because of the price, we took the 100E express route to the city. Since we were planning to go directly to Vienna, we went directly to the train station to wait for the train and also bought some food at a nearby supermarket! ❗️The prices in Budapest will be much cheaper than in Vienna❗️ ⚠️Because our flights are both in Budapest and back, we decided to go to Vienna first and then to Budapest. If you only want to visit Budapest, you can start your day trip! If you don't take the train often, you don't need to buy a pass when traveling in various European countries. The second one happened to be in the middle of a worship service and we also followed along to listen to the hymns☺️ Vienna Day 5 Today we are going to transfer back to Budapest So we got up early in the morning and bought some Vienna souvenirs in a nearby store. This time we took the Flix bus, which is a passenger bus between Europe. Probably like Tonglian Guoguang, the price is not expensive~ Arrived in Budapest around 2:00 p.m. After checking into Airbnb, this time we stayed right opposite the Hungarian Parliament!
