It was unearthed from the Han Tomb of Beishantou in Chaohu City in 1997. The carving technique is sophisticated and the shape is beautiful, especially the combination of the pattern of "Vermillion Bird holding a ring and stepping on a tiger", which shows the legacy of Chu culture and reflects the conflict of ideology and culture in the Han Dynasty. This jade cup is not only the pinnacle of jade craftsmanship in the Han Dynasty, but also provides important physical materials for the study of the economy, culture and history of Nanchao in the Han Dynasty. ✅Western Han Dynasty - Gilded Bronze Vermilion Bird (Figure ❻): This bronze gilded divine bird ornament was unearthed from the Fangwanggang Han Tomb in Chaohu City in 1996. You need to climb a flight of stairs to enter the museum and register. The museum is divided into three floors, each with different exhibition halls. 🛖The first floor exhibits Chaohu Lake and Chaohu Lake's intangible cultural heritage and farming culture from ancient times. I saw the formation of Chaohu Lake's geology, local cultural food, etc. I visited the museum and learned about the local specialties 🍲Chaohu Lake fish feast, Yipin Yudai Cake (this is the Yudai Cake conferred by Emperor Qianlong) 🏺The second floor is the history and culture of Chaohu Lake, where historical relics unearthed in Chaohu Lake are displayed. Walking in, a sand table restores the Tuoju Battle. Passed by Chaohu and took a taxi to the museum for a visit. The location is at Wanggang Han Tomb. It was still under renovation when I went there. The museum opened in 2022 and the equipment is pretty good, with a decent level of exhibition. The museum is free to visit, closed on Mondays. Some lacquerware and burial objects are quite distinctive. Recommended to visit if passing by.
