2️⃣0️⃣2️⃣5️⃣Slow Tour of Kaohsiung, Taiwan for 4 days and 3 nights DAY3️⃣ One-day tour in Cijin About 6 minutes’ walk from Hamashing Station, we arrived at Gushan Ferry Station and took the ferry to Cijin Ferry Station. The journey only took 5 to 10 minutes and the ticket price was NT$30. After arriving, we rented a four-person electric bicycle for sightseeing. ➡️Attractions: Windmill Park Our first stop was to the farthest "Windmill Park". We lost the bicycle path after walking down the road and had to walk out onto the road. Several cars got lost along the way and it took us a while to finally get into the Windmill Park. 🙈 ➡️Attractions: Sea Pearl Sea Pearl is a peculiarly shaped building with various ocean-related displays to help you better understand the charm of the ocean. ➡️Attractions: Rainbow Church The Rainbow Church is a very unique building with a colorful exterior that gives people a full fairy-tale feel. In the evening, we climbed Qihou Mountain and first visited the Kaohsiung Lighthouse, where we enjoyed a panoramic view of the entire harbor. Then, we arrived at Qihou Battery, a historic site that has witnessed the past and changes of Kaohsiung. Standing on the battery, we were greeted with a vast seascape and the bustling city, all bathed in the golden hues of the sunset. We deeply felt the history and vitality of this city. At that moment, time seemed to stand still, with only the wind and memories flowing.

One of the places I had always wanted to visit in Kaohsiung's Cijin was the Cihou Fort. On a pleasant afternoon, I began a leisurely climb up the hill. As I walked, I eventually came across a short tunnel. And the moment I passed through that tunnel— Wow, a breathtaking view of the blue sea unfolded right before my eyes 🌊 On the breezy hilltop, remnants of the old fort remain, and as you continue up the path, you finally arrive at the Cihou Lighthouse! The white lighthouse, the blue sky, and the endless sea stretching far into the distance all come together in one stunning view. From the observation deck, the harbor, city, and sea below create a picturesque scene, and for a moment, all the cluttered thoughts in my mind seemed to pause. It’s a humble yet profoundly moving place.

Qijin is a peninsula of Kaohsiung City, located on the southwest side of Kaohsiung Port. It is a long and narrow overseas sandbank. The ferry is the most comfortable way. It is boarded by the Gushan Ferry Station and sails in the inland sea. It takes about 10 minutes to reach the Qijin Ferry Station. Focus Fortress is located on the back of the flag of Qijin District, Kaohsiung City, Taiwan. Qihoushan is the throat of the Kaohsiung Port, which was built in 1875. The wall made of red bricks, the peeling wall, after a history of scrubbing, ubiquitously tells the mottle and memory of history. Standing here, you can climb the Kaohsiung panorama. The structure of the qijin fort is also very interesting. Several layers of brick-red platforms are connected by the steps from top to bottom. It is like a game in the computer.
