Staying at the Dolanda V Hotel during this Chengdu trip was incredibly convenient – step outside and you'll see the viral giant panda sculpture 🐼, with Chunxi Road Pedestrian Street just across the footbridge! Transportation is super easy too – right beneath the panda's 🐼 bottom, you'll find direct shuttle buses to Chengdu's surrounding attractions and airport buses. So handy! The hotel staff were exceptionally warm and helpful, especially the bespectacled gentleman at the front desk. They even prepared their own travel guides and transportation maps – such thoughtful service! They even helped with luggage and saw us off to our car at checkout. The breakfast was delicious with a decent variety, and complimentary afternoon tea with desserts and pastries was a lovely surprise (usually charged at other hotels). Don’t miss the rooftop terrace on the 4th floor – perfect for evening drinks with friends while enjoying downtown Chengdu’s skyline. Absolutely relaxing! Come to Chengdu for more than just hot pot and pandas! The Dorlanda V Hotel is worth a visit! The hotel is located in the prime area of downtown Chengdu, within walking distance of Chunxi Road and Taikoo Li Pedestrian Street. Transportation is very convenient, with subway lines 2 and 3 and scenic bus lines nearby, making it easy to get to Kuanzhai Alley, People's Park, and Jinli Ancient Street. The room design is simple yet sophisticated, with many smart devices, robots, and voice control systems to control the entire room, as well as smart TVs with screen mirroring capabilities. The bedding is exceptional, very clean, and the beds are neat, soft, and comfortable. The pillows are soft and firm, and the soundproofing is excellent, so even sensitive people like me won't be disturbed. The service is also super attentive. The front desk staff is very friendly and gentle, and they recommended a nearby hot pot restaurant that was really delicious!
