There are so many beautiful buildings in the Perth downtown area to explore and definitely it requires one day to explore. A good place to start is at the Perth Station or the Street Mall, then moving on to London Court - Elizabeth Quay -Bell Tower - St George’s Anglican Cathedral- St Mary’s Cathedral and back to Perth Station. There are many parking lots also in the downtown area and the weekend rates is very reasonable ( less than Aud $10) for one day. The one we parked at was CCP Citiplace which is connected to the Perth Station and the street shopping mall. Aside from shopping, we thought that Elizabeth Quay was particularly beautiful . The view of the Elizabeth Quay is just wonderful with lots of space for sitting down and sipping a coffee. There is often summer music and events taking place . Children can also enjoy playing in the water fountain. One block away is the Bell Tower, and old Court House. The garden is particularly beautiful and we saw many couples taking their wedding photos. My favorite buildings were the two cathedrals - St George Anglican Cathedral and St Mary Cathedral ( catholic). Both were built in the 19th Century, while St Mary’s has gone through 2 expansion and reopened in 2009. Starting in early afternoon with lunch near the shopping mall, then taking in all the sights and walking in a loop is very relaxing and definitely will fall in love with the city! ❤️ #perth #westernaustralia #cityexplorer

I can’t tell you how much I love Perth. 🥹 I’ve been living here for the past two years, and I honestly couldn’t choose a better place. The city has such a relaxed, welcoming vibe — big enough to have everything you need, but still laid-back and easy to enjoy. And the weather? Always on point. Sunshine almost all year round makes it easy to fall in love with the outdoors. Some of my favourite spots are Elizabeth Quay, where the city meets the river with beautiful views and a peaceful boardwalk, and Kings Park, one of the biggest inner-city parks in the world — perfect for walks, sunsets, or just sitting under a tree with a coffee. Speaking of coffee, I have to mention Café Pastel in Northbridge — it’s my go-to for a proper Portuguese pastry fix. Their pastéis de nata are just like home. 🤌🏼😱 Perth may not be as fast-paced as some cities, but that’s exactly what I love about it. It’s a beautiful place to live, and it quietly grows on you. Staying in East Perth at Crowne Plaza Perth for 3days 2night. Though the hotel was decent and nothing of fancy, and was a bit expensive for close to A$450 a night (Premium 2 Double 1 single room), but the location was nice as it was close to the swan river. Nice scenery. Can consider taking leisure walk along the bank to the Bell Tower and Elizabeth Quay. All within walking distance. There are also closer hotels to the CBD which will greatly reduce the walking distance. I would consider some hotels closer to Murray Street or even Perth station if food, bars and shopping are the key focus. These locations are also near to the WA museum Boola Bardip and other cultural centre. Deserve a thumb up to Bolla Bardip, very amazing exhibits at low cost to public. Can literally spend a day to understand on the history. Given more time, I would probably spend more days here as well.
