The inn where I stayed in Kusatsu Onsen is a hot spring inn called "Gensen Ichinoyu" that uses the hot spring source of Kusatsu. You will love Kusatsu Onsen! It is close to the famous Kusatsu Yubatake, and the road from the Yubatake to the hotel is a narrow and quaint road with a very nice atmosphere. There is a hot spring source inside the inn, and even those who can't enter the small hot spring outside can safely enter. I visited in January, when snow was falling, and Kusatsu Onsen was amazing with snow falling outside. There was a yukata in the room, and I wore it to enter the public hot springs that anyone can enter, which made me feel like I was in a hot spring town, which was also great.
