Guanghan is located in the northeast of the fertile Chengdu Plain, 20 kilometers south of Chengdu. Since ancient times, it has been the "gateway to Yizhou, the main thoroughfare to Shu Province, and the passage to Beijing." During the Han Dynasty, Guanghan was called Luocheng in ancient times. Friends who like the Romance of the Three Kingdoms should be more familiar with it. When Liu Bei led his army to conquer West Sichuan, it took him nearly a year to capture Luocheng, the last barrier of Chengdu. He then went straight to Chengdu and established the Shu Han regime. Of course, he also paid the price of losing his talented young talent Pang Tong. During the battle, Zhang Ren, a general of Liu Zhang, the former boss of Chengdu, was captured at Jinyan Bridge in Luocheng. During the Ming and Qing Dynasties, Guanghan was formerly known as Hanzhou and was an important town in the north of Chengdu.
