A newly opened Zen Japanese-style teahouse and homestay nestled in the hills of Manjuelong in Hangzhou
|||A few months ago, I came across this window on 🍠 and really liked it, so I specifically booked two nights at this mountain homestay. Coincidentally, the first wave of osmanthus flowers had fallen in mid-September, and the second wave had not yet bloomed. This place is located on Manjuelong Yangjia Mountain, and it is only suitable to take a taxi/drive here with luggage, as the slope in front of the homestay is particularly steep, and it can be a bit tiring to climb up. I stayed in the 'Sweeping Clouds' room of the second phase of the homestay, and I feel that each room has its own characteristics, some with lofts, some with their own courtyards. This building is newly renovated, and the layout is full of minimalist aesthetics. The first floor of the first phase is a coffee shop, and the first floor of the second phase is a tea room. Breakfast is served in the coffee shop, delicious and healthy. The room has osmanthus Longjing tea, and it's especially comfortable to read a book and drink tea when the sun is good. It's very close to the Yangmeiling Trail, walking from Shuile Cave to Yangmeiling - Li'an Temple - Jiuxi Yanshu - Longjing Tea Inquiry, and then back to the homestay. This whole loop takes about two to three hours, and it doesn't consume too much energy as there's no mountain climbing involved. Drawbacks: The location is on the mountain, and the roads are especially congested during the osmanthus season. I also encountered a taxi driver who kept canceling my orders. The room is not big, and there are few places to put things.
In Hangzhou, a place suitable for i people to stay for a whole day! Mi Hu Ye is located in Hangzhou's Manjuelong with exclusive matching tea rooms, cafes, and homestays~ Without going out, you can enjoy a relaxed and comfortable vacation atmosphere. Whether you like to be alone~ or are not very sociable, i people can find their own relaxing space in the area🍁
- ✔ Sitting in front of the window, daydreaming, looking at the scenery, soaking in the bathtub, listening to music, the outdoor sunken circular seating area of the first phase, surrounded by greenery, water on three sides, with a big osmanthus tree nearby. The sunken seating area is surrounded by nature, and sitting here in autumn is full of relaxation -
✔ The second phase tea room has round table seating, long tables, and private rooms. The private rooms need to be booked in advance. Three or five friends can hide in the wabi-sabi style private room to drink tea and chat, facing the mountains, with a broad view, very suitable for daydreaming -
Listening to the sound of wind chimes swinging~ From October to November in Hangzhou, the beautiful scenery that awaits is autumn leaves and blooming osmanthus. Mi Hu Ye is a Japanese-style homestay hidden in the City walk of Manjuelong, with its own quiet and Zen atmosphere. Accompanied by the sound of wind chimes and the fragrance of osmanthus🎐, surrounded by greenery and the aroma of tea🍃, the stay is very comfortable, although the price is a bit expensive!
But I think it's worth it, after all, you have to treat yourself well when traveling!
Just right, the location is halfway up the mountain, just right to take in the entire mountain view from the top! The homestay combines accommodation/coffee shop/light meals, and you can comfortably stay for a whole day! I have to praise the merchant for the morning service they provide, which is also very ceremonial! Early in the morning, breathe in the full fragrance of osmanthus on the mountain top, full of greenery, enjoying this nutritious breakfast! And you can pair it with a cup of coffee! Perfect☕️❤️
Mi Hu Ye Chill Cafe + Homestay is located in Hangzhou Manjuelong. Upon arrival, it was already evening. In the dim light, every corner of the room was quiet. The room has a place to drink tea. After the child falls asleep, sit for a moment. The bedding is very nice. I remember that the bedding in homestays is always damp, but this bed is very light and soft. Breakfast is one portion per person, the presentation is also exquisite, the portion is suitable, the small wontons are especially delicious😋, and there is also a cup of coffee☕️. The outdoor yard is also cleverly designed, with children doing crafts under the shade of trees, picking fruits, and playing in the water pool. Staying in a homestay with children is always less convenient than a hotel, but this experience is very good. The housekeeper service is attentive, although not 24 hours. The trip is rushed, will come again next time ·
