Ilham Gallery is a public art gallery that located in Binjai Road Kuala Lumpur Malaysia. The Building is huge but the exhibition area is small but they have interesting collection and worth it to visit. To entering this gallery, you don’t have purchase ticket because it is free. But there are visitor guidelines like don’t bring food or drinks, don’t use flash to capture/photography and don’t touch any of the artworks on display. Ilham Gallery have two exhibition area. Level 5 this gallery is used to show Nirmala Dutt Statement and Level 3 is used to show Timoteus Anggawan Kusno Phantoms. We went to Ilham Art Show 2022 exhibition at Ilham Gallery . A small gallery situated in KL city centre. Entrance is free or charge and parking is also easy. The gallery features the works of local artists and the exhibition is always changing. This time I took advantage of the time to visit ILHAM's nostalgic art exhibition, which is located on the fifth floor of the ILHAM building. After arriving on the fifth floor, the thoughtful staff will tell you the precautions for visiting the exhibition, such as not bringing water in, prohibiting the use of flash, etc. There are lockers outside for water. The exhibition includes theatrical art from the 1990s, as well as many interactive installations. It is an exhibition suitable for visiting alone, on a date, or with friends. There was a girl at the door explaining the rules. After that, we could go in and have a look. I'm not artistic person, but it is a nice place to chill out and can try to understand the drawings from the arts perspective. It also has a gift shop that has various authentic souvenirs for you to buy. Sometimes, it will hold some art exhibition and events there. No entrance fees are required. Amazed to see different forms of art that were on display inside. The gallery located at the 5th floor where you can find the gift shop at the opposite direction. Since the art show is a curated series, personally for me this time it's a decent collection. Like most galleries, you can photograph the art piece without flash. This time around at Ilham Gallery, the showcase The Dream of the Day and Project 555. I love how each painting mirroring the feelings and vibe from it. I'm not the type who indulge myself with paintings and arts but this time around, I discover that arts are meaningful, especially from the artist perspective themselves. Also, there's an 18+ section where they display some explicit arts. At this section, no photography is allowed It's free, so we enjoyed so much, absorbed to the paintings and other visualisation there!
