Jeonju might not be on most people’s travel radar but it certainly should be! Just about 1.5hrs train from Seoul or a 3hr bus ride from Seoul, it offers a charming, relaxed small city feel with good eats (like Kalguksu, mandu, choco pie, bibimbap and bean sprouts soup) and well preserved traditional Korean hanok village architecture.
