I came to see Kegon Falls near Chuzenji Temple. Even though it was a weekday, there were a lot of people. This time I took the elevator and saw the waterfall 100 meters below! I took a bus from Nikko Station up the mountain. The sky darkened along the way and it started to rain heavily. I got off at Chuzenji Onsen Station and went for a tour immediately. Kegon Shrine 𓂃◌𓈒𓐍 𓂃◌𓈒𓐍𓂃◌𓈒𓐍𓂃 A shrine located right next to Kegon Falls. It was founded on June 21, 2020, so it is a fairly new shrine. The enshrined deity is Futarasan Okami Minaminome The stone fence, torii gate, and shrine building are all bright red, and although small, they have a strong presence. There is also a restaurant on the same premises, so we had a quick meal.
