The next best option is to join a group tour on various platforms, which usually includes pick-up and drop-off, but may include other routes. I highly recommend staying overnight, not because there is any local cuisine, but purely so you can go earlier. I stayed at the Xizhou Hotel in Xi County, which is currently the best hotel in the area. 💰 Less than CNY 200 a night, and only a few minutes' drive from Xiaoxitian, which is very convenient.
