In Lombok, Indonesia, this is a hotel that gives you a sense of well-being. All the staff are very warm and welcoming, bringing you the best stay experience. The hotel atmosphere is very good, even when you leave, you will feel reluctant to leave. The waiter is very friendly and can remember everyone's name. All meals are served in the room, as well as afternoon tea. Its 5 minutes to go to the beach. Because its a New Years Eve, the Europeans and Americans are especially special. Next to the New Years party, the music is particularly embarrassing. Until midnight, I have experienced a European and American New Year. There is no breakfast room, so each villa is an exclusive breakfast, delivered by someone. I also booked a private pool, small. The hotel is a wonderful feeling between the cracks in the houses. There is a hole in the old small courtyard. Lombok has a place of development and no development, which is very mixed. Lagging behind and luxury. Ever been somewhere where you never want to leave? This was Lombok for us. Lombok is an island in Indonesia next to Bali but i after seeing both Bali and Lombok, I would choose Lombok any day! There is so many beautiful waterfalls and beaches in Lombok and it is so affordable. We paid £138 a month for our stay in Mataram, Lombok. Although Mataram is the city of Lombok and not a tourist destination, we had such a great time! The locals are so nice and you can find drivers who will drive you to the other side of the island and wait to take you back at the end of the day. Lombok is 97% muslim so you will not find alcohol unless you’re in the touristy areas. Most restaurants in Mataram don’t offer alcohol with meals but you can buy it in shops if that’s fr you. We don’t really drink so wasn’t an issue for us. Every sunday there is Car Free Day which is where they close down the street for a few hours in the morning and there’s lots of food stalls and stuff to buy. There is also music and dancing! In a word, it's another world. From the moment you step inside, you're drawn into the world of Tugu. The best space you can only experience here. Every experience is moving. We are greeted with a welcome drink of coconut juice. At the back of the hotel is a private beach. You can enjoy a cafe and meals on the beachside. The rooms are unique and spacious. Shower and bathtub included. Basic amenities are available. You can also enjoy coffee from a coffee plantation owned by the Tugu Group in your room. There are hotels on the other two islands. Public boats are also available. How to get there First, go to Lombok International Airport on Lombok Island. Cross over to the Gili Islands from the pier in the north. It takes an hour and a half direct from the airport to the pier. It is recommended to head north while sightseeing and spending a night around Senggigi. You can cross to the Gili Islands by public boat or speedboat. Board the public boat from the pier "Pelabuhan bangsal". 20,000 rupiah per person. Depart when the number of people is sufficient. Operating hours are 7:00-16:00. Room: Comes with a wooden deck leading to a courtyard full of greenery. Senggigi Beach spreads out beyond the courtyard. The room was clean, but the humidity was a bit of a concern. Basic amenities are provided. Food: There is a restaurant in the hotel. The Italian restaurant Lotus Bayview Restaurant is within walking distance of the beach and is delicious. 5 minutes walk. Breakfast: Buffet style. A wide variety of menu items. Service: Good service. Facilities: Pool, spa, Wi-Fi. Access: There are no convenience stores or shops nearby. It is best to arrange a car for the next day in advance. I negotiated with the driver I used on the way there. Although a ride-hailing app is available, there were no hits. Recommended points: Located halfway between Lombok International Airport and Gili Islands. Experienced massages for two days during a short trip to Lombok. The first day was at Qamboja Spa & Nail Bar in Qunci Villas Hotel. We chose the Aromatic massage. Qamboja is located in the hotel next door, so we went straight there and made a reservation. There are four kinds of essential oils to choose from. The sister who gave me the massage had just the right touch and the strength could be adjusted. It was so comfortable that I was about to fall asleep when the time was up. The prices and service details are transparent on the Internet, and the on-site service staff are very friendly. Although they have always wondered why we went to their hotel when our hotel also has massage services🤣🤣🤣. My brother was massaged by a man and he preferred the Mango Tree Spa at our second hotel, Sudamala Resort. The next day, after experiencing the scorching sun and snorkeling in the water, we made an appointment for a massage without hesitation. This time we decided to try the Cucumber wrap in our own restaurant. Wrap is to cover the body with cucumber paste after traditional massage. When I checked out, I thought to myself, I will definitely come back. East Lombok On Google Maps, it is located on a cliff. Unlike the popular areas of Lombok, such as Senggigi, Mataram, and Kuta, this place is deserted, yet it is so charming. It is about 60 km from Lombok Airport, about 1.5 hours. We came from Kayangan Pier, 70 km, about 2 hours, costing 500k. The hotel has 13 independent rooms, almost all of which have sea views. The hotel generates its own electricity, so there are several power outages every day, but the hot water supply is good. How to describe this hotel? After crossing the ocean and village roads, I really felt it was worth it. You can see the sunrise when you open your eyes in bed. I really don't want to do anything every day, just lazily lie on the sofa at the door and feel the sea breeze. The day we checked in, there were almost all foreigners, no Chinese. The next day, I met two Chinese couples, and I was really happy, hahaha (and one couple sat next to me on the flight from Lombok Airport to Kuala Lumpur!!! This is fate)

From the moment we arrived, we knew we were in for a treat. Day 1: Beach Vibes at Senggigi Our adventure began at Senggigi Beach, where we lounged under the sun, sipping fresh coconut water. As dusk approached, we enjoyed a beachfront seafood dinner, watching the sky transform into brilliant shades of orange and pink. Day 2: Conquering Mount Rinjani For a taste of adventure, we hiked Mount Rinjani. While we didn’t reach the summit, the panoramic views from our halfway point were breathtaking. The trek was challenging but rewarding, with lush landscapes stretching as far as the eye could see. Day 3: Gili Island Hopping A boat ride took us to the Gili Islands—each one a unique gem: • Gili Trawangan: Party central with beach bars and lively vibes. • Gili Meno: Tranquil and perfect for a relaxed swim. • Gili Air: A mix of both worlds, with charming cafes and stunning sunsets. Day 5: Surfing at Kuta Lombok Our final day was spent exploring Kuta Lombok. We rented scooters and hit up Mawun Beach and Tanjung Aan, where we caught some beginner-friendly waves. Even if you’re not into surfing, the beaches are a must-visit for their stunning scenery. Trekking to the top of Mount Rinjani offers beautiful views of the Segara Anak crater and spectacular sunrise views Mount Rinjani is located on Lombok Island, West Nusa Tenggara. The mountain with an altitude of 3,726 meters above sea level and located at latitude 8º25 'S and 116º28' E is a favorite mountain for Indonesian climbers because of its beautiful scenery. This mountain is part of the Mount Rinjani National Park which has an area of about 76,000 ha to the west and east. Mount Rinjani has a crater with a width of about 10 km and there is a crater lake called Lake Segara Anak with a depth of about 230 m. With its blue water color like a child of the ocean, the water flowing from this lake forms a very beautiful waterfall and flows through a steep ravine. Many climbers fish in this lake because there are many carp and tilapia. There are 2 hiking trails to reach the peak of Rinjani, namely the Sembalun Trail and the Senaru Trail. The Sembalun Trail is a favorite trail for climbers because even though the track is longer, it can save 700 m of altitude. On the Sembalun Trail, climbers will pass through a very wide and beautiful expanse of savanna. There are 3 rest posts on this trail, and after post 3 climbers will face a steep climb with a gradient of about 60 degrees. While on the Senaru Trail, climbers will pass through a fairly dense and steep tropical forest. Similar to the Sembalun Trail, this trail also has 3 rest posts before arriving at the Pelawangan post which is usually used as a camping area. The charm of Mount Rinjani is almost perfect so there is no doubt that Rinjani is an attraction that can captivate the interest of foreign and domestic tourists to climb it. And climbing Mount Rinjani will certainly be an unforgettable memory and life experience.

Hiking in Sekaroh, Southeast Lombok, was an incredible experience. The trails led me through lush greenery, with coconut trees lining the paths and the sound of waves in the distance. As I climbed higher, the views became more breathtaking, with the coastline stretching out below me, revealing hidden beaches and turquoise waters. The untouched nature of the area made each step feel like a discovery. The hikes were peaceful, with few other travelers around, allowing me to fully immerse myself in the beauty of the surroundings. #islandtours So we did a lot of exploring in Bali. Over the years several trips. I wanted to head somewhere not too far just at the same time quiet and peaceful with less people around. Also, do some hiking. Lombok perfectly fits the bill. First off, it can also be clubbed with Bali because only an hour’s flight away from Bali. I visited amazing waterfalls, trekked Mount Rinjani, and explored the south coast near Kuta Lombok. According to me the best way is to rent a car or hire a taxi at the port or airport. If you make it up there just after lunch that is perfect timing, you will have time to go explore Sendang Gile and Tiu Kelep Waterfall. These two waterfalls are just a short walk from most of the accommodations in Senaru and are both beautiful spots in the Lombok Jungle. It’s a great way to kick off your Lombok Mount Rinjani was always an exciting prospect for me so the next day we had an early start with our hiking boots. At 3,726m the summit is an incredible and difficult journey but so rewarding. There are several ways to hike Mount Rinjani and depending on which route is open and which you decide to hike it can take anyway from 2 to 4 days.
