It is also close to Tokyo and the route is very basic. It is really suitable for friends who are hesitating whether to go there or not.

Route Information
There are generally three routes on Tanigawadake, namely the Tenjindaira Route, the Nishi-Kuroone Route and the Ichinokurasawa Route. We will focus on the entry-level Tenjindaira route, which takes about 4-5 hours round trip in winter and climbs about 800 meters. There are dangerous sections on this route. It is winter now, and there is a lot of snow. The slope is dangerous, so crampons and walking axes are still necessary. Of course, some people use trekking poles throughout the journey, but for safety reasons, it is better to have complete equipment.
⚠️Although there are dangerous areas, you don’t need to be too scared. Just walk slowly step by step, rely on adult judgment, and walk steadily. It is completely possible for novices. In short, Tanigawadake is really worth a visit, so families should make arrangements quickly! #weekendtrip #globaltravel #tokyoattractions #tokyotravel #tani kawadake
