#winhkflight Before we our lovely friend trip in ipoh, we dropped by this cafe to fulfil our cravings for Green Tea! With the look of the cafe is already enough to heighten our umami sense! Was not expecting the range of green tea they offer, from lightly roast to houjicha. They also has got hand-made Strawberry daifuku too! I wish to travel to HongKong to resemble the busyness of the city and start my shopping spree just like what I used to watch in TV!

This cafe serve ranges of green tea that can fulfil your green tea crave, they offers taste from light to bold and even to roasted ones! I personally love Houjicha ice latte and ordered along with the Strawberry Daifuku. Apart from the nice drink and food, the atmosphere and view from the cafe elevated the entire cafe experience!

Muzi Matcha is a Japanese-inspired cafe, featuring a variety of specialized Matcha drinks and desserts. It has a Muji-styled minimalistic wooden interior, with large windows allowing plenty of natural sunlight in ☀️ Here’s what we tried from their menu Daifuku Mochi (8/10) 🍓 💰RM3.80 • Covered with an outer layer of crushed peanuts and had a sweet red-bean paste filling. The taste of the strawberry was sweet and was overall a balanced and pleasant treat. Reminds us of Malaysian Muah Chee instead of your typical Japanese Daifuku. Definetely, worth a try Matcha Choco Cheese (7/10) 🍰 💰 RM16 • A chocolate sponge base accompanied by creamy matcha mousse. The cake was not overly sweet and was accompanied well by the drinks and Daifuku Matcha matcha (6/10) 🍵 💰RM12 • A smooth and creamy matcha tea. Not too sweet hence good to accompany with desserts Morino matcha (6/10) 🍵 💰RM16 • Your typical matcha latte. Morino was more savoury as compared to Matcha matcha which had a lighter taste. On the lower sweetness level, may be enjoyed for those without a sweet tooth Note that tables have charging ports so is suitable for a study or work-date. They have a wide selection of drinks however hot food items are limited. #ipohfood Made a lunch stop at this little cafe in Ipoh I found on Maps. There was a comfortable number of people there, that is enough for you to know it’s good without being too overcrowded. The ambience was fairly zen, matching the Japanese decor. The food and tea was indeed good and fast. The salmon ochazuke with its sides to share was perfect for a light lunch. They bring their Japanese tea in from Shizuoka, Japan’s green tea capital so you know the drinks won’t disappoint. The spicy seafood ramen is very recommended, reasonably priced, and seafood is given generously. Ochazuke salmon rice is unique with a variety of flavours from the side dishes. Matcha strawberry tiramisu and strawberry daifu are must-try. Atmosphere 10 out of 10. Can tell that the owner must have put a lot of effort into the design and every detail of the restaurant. Once inside the gate, the surroundings are very comfortable, especially the small garden at the back, making the whole cafe feel. The main matcha series of drinks, definitely need a cup of matcha latte. In addition, there are some Japanese fusion staples, such as udon noodles, and special matcha chazuke rice, quite novel. There is another special dessert [Strawberry Dafu], limited to 100 portions a day. Loved the cozy vibes here. Tried their chazuke, and it was pretty good comforting and flavorful—good—light, comforting, and flavorful.
