I went to "Sakura" because I wanted to eat Yoshino kuzu kuzukiri. It's a traditional Japanese cafe about a 10-minute walk from Nara Station. I took off my shoes and entered the tatami room. When I sat down, there was a courtyard in front of me, a relaxing space. I immediately ordered the kuzukiri I was looking for. Hon-kuzu, which is extracted from the kudzu root of Yoshino kudzu, is highly rare, and this restaurant uses 100% of it. In order to serve freshly made kuzukiri, they make it by hand after ordering. The kuzukiri, which was brought to me with the cool sound of ice clinking, was a beautiful transparent color. I first tried one as it was, and it was smooth and smooth. It was also chewy and elastic. If you add brown sugar syrup to it, it has a refined sweetness and is even more delicious♡ As I slowly ate it while taking photos, the kudzu turned white and the texture changed. This is definitely worth a visit if you are in Nara after visiting the obvious temples and shrines. Take some time to wander the narrow streets and go in a few of the quaint shops and cafés to have sweet delicacies and tea.. Also a nice covered shopping area that is full of interesting shops but not crowded like the larger shopping areas in Osaka and Tokyo. Easily accessible from the yellow loop bus that takes you to all of the main temple sites. Naramachi is a great place to wander and get lost for a while. Japan can be a series of one stop after another and sometimes it is nice to just wander, get a little lost and find some hidden sites. Naramachi is perfect for this. #givethanks #givethanks

I just finished a five-day, four-night trip to Osaka and Nara, and my mind is full of images of deer bowing and cute dogs on the streets. This city is full of surprises, and I can't help but want to rush in again immediately! A super detailed itinerary and cute moments are organized, add them to your travel list now✨ 🌟 Highlights of the trip: A Tale of Two Cities: Osaka and Nara Day 1: First experience in Osaka, Shinsaibashi After arriving, head straight to Shinsaibashi! The saleslady at the drugstore was super friendly. From time to time, I saw Shiba Inus wearing kimonos and walking on a leash on the road. In the evening, I watched the sunset at Rong Bridge. The riverside was full of locals and their pets. The Japanese atmosphere was right at its peak! I recommend trying "Ichiran Ramen". There is a "dog waiting area" at the door, which is so considerate~ Day 2: History meets cute pets I checked in at Osaka Castle Park in the morning. The castle tower was magnificent, and I was unexpectedly attracted by the "baby squirrels" in the trees! Buy a bag of nuts (available in the park) and you'll get a bunch of them. It's so soothing to watch them run up the tree with their food in their arms. In the afternoon, we will go to Nara! As soon as we got off the bus, we were surrounded by deer. Remember to hide the deer senbei in your bag and walk to the foot of Mt. Wakakusa to feed them. The deer here are more gentle. We met a "polite deer" who nodded gently after eating. My heart melted. Day 3: Universal Studios x Street Pet Easter Eggs A must-see in the Harry Potter area! Next to the staff in wizard robes, there is a "magic poodle" - with a Hogwarts scarf hanging around its neck, sitting next to it and letting people take pictures📸In the evening, I watched the night view of Umeda Sky Building and encountered a group of stray cats in the square downstairs. I bought a can of cat food at the convenience store and got it to rub against my legs~ Day 4: Tennoji Zoo·Puppy Interaction Experience Set aside a day specifically for the zoo! It was super therapeutic to watch Taobang chewing bamboo in the Panda House.
