[2 days, 1 night] Weekend whirlwind trip to Nagoya
Nagoya weekend trip ✈️🍜🏯
☀️Day 1
On the weekend morning, I took the Shinkansen from Tokyo to Nagoya🚄. The first place I went to when I arrived in Nagoya was the famous "Ajisen Ramen"🍜. It was really delicious! But it was really spicy🔥. After I finished eating, I found out that you can make it less spicy when ordering... If you're going to go, please tell the staff (lol).
I didn't have any plans in the afternoon, so I strolled around Nagoya🚶♀️. Nagoya has wide roads and many tall buildings, and it had a Hong Kong-like atmosphere🏙️.
In the evening, I went to a restaurant famous for its chicken wings🍗. But maybe I expected too much, because the taste was so-so... Maybe because the restaurant was busy, the service was also normal, which was a bit disappointing😅. Honestly, I think the chicken wings I had in Tokyo were tastier...
☀️Day 2
I woke up late on this day and went to Nagoya Castle first🏯. You should definitely see this place at least once! The folding screens and murals are especially beautiful, like works of art✨. There was also a performance that gave you the feeling of the Sengoku period, which I really enjoyed!
In the afternoon, I went to the Toyota Commemorative Museum of Industry and Technology🚗. Here, I was able to learn about the history and development of Toyota, which was surprisingly interesting. I think even people who aren't car lovers will enjoy it!
In the evening, I saw the famous Boeing 737 on display at Nagoya Airport✈️. The way it's displayed in the airport is, well, cool! It's definitely worth seeing. I was lucky that the flight on the return flight, JL208, was an international flight🎉.
It was a short trip, but it was a fun weekend where I was able to experience the various charms of Nagoya. I'd like to visit again soon! 😊
