This was a funny story! I looked online for abandoned buildings in Hainan, and found this gem! Upon arrival the first time I was denied entry as they are planning to restore the building as it was classified as a historical site. Returning one year later, the local vilagers told me the project has been stopped until further notice and I can enter the building for photos. What I saw is the most beautiful arches, overgrown stairs and the perfect contrast for the lens! I should have taken people with for portraits but I am glad to share the location with you to take stunning photos!
