What a fantastic street and area - the buildings and layout make it feel really authentic and a great insight into the historical city. It’s a shame that so many of the shops now sell plastic tourist ‘tat’ but there’s still plenty of interesting stores along the way and fortunately none of the sellers are pushy or encouraging you in anywhere. Although it is somewhat commercialised I didn’t find it too much to remove any of the charm or atmosphere. Admiring the buildings in this entire area is a fascinating experience. It’s also central in the city to be in the perfect location for exploring other great sights, so there really isn’t an excuse for not passing through; it certainly was one of the highlights of my visit! #shanghaitrip

Actually it has been quite a while since I have gone to the Bund, but we made a sudden plan to go in search of the famous 🐈 cat murals 🎨 in Shanghai old street as recommended by one of our friends. But unfortunately, those mural walls 🧱 are covered for restoration. As we were feeling down, the sight of Shanghai tower with setting sun 🌞 kissing the glossy buildings brought the total delight and wooed us to the default-crowded 😁 Bund arena. It was a great experience in Shanghai..I have spent around 4 days in Shanghai, and it was my best moment over there.. The first day I visited THE BUND and took the cruise tour and it was worth it..preferred to go in the evening. Second day I have visited the Shanghai Tower and the market places shopping area..the view from the tower is absolutely stunning, preferred to go around 6 in the evening, so you can have day and night view. Third day I have visited the old town , lots of tourists visited that place I had no idea.. it was wonderful Fourth day was the best day because of Worlds largest Disneyland, I have never seen any place like that..it was really great experience..totally unforgettable moments I had

After searching for information on countries that women can travel alone, it is safe and convenient to travel, finally we concluded that we will go to Shanghai, China 🎉 We booked all flights and accommodation through Trip. The price is very good. Fly with Thai Airways both ways. The flight departs at 00.30, arriving at Shanghai Pudong Airport at 05.45, taking a little over 1 hour to go through immigration. Since the Meglev opens at 7 am, we chose to take the Metro all the way to East Nanjing, where we are staying. It takes 01.03 minutes. I'm not sure how much it costs, but it's very cheap. After arriving at East Nanjing, a small woman who is not good at looking at maps walked around looking for a place to stay for a long time. Finally, I decided to walk up to the police officer in an orange vest standing at the crosswalk to ask for help. I just wanted to ask for directions, but he walked me to the hotel sign. It was my first impression of coming to China. When I saw the hotel sign, I thanked him. When I came back, I was alone again. I searched for the way up to the hotel. The hotel we were staying at was called Weiting Hotel, on the 7th floor. When I saw the hotel sign, there was an elevator, so I pressed it. At that time, it was still early, the staff would let us check in at 2 pm. We left our bags and went for a walk around there. We didn't plan anything for this trip because we just wanted to relax. We would go to whatever was nearby when we had time left. So it was quite a chill trip. #TravelChina ⸻ The day I went to Yuyuan Old Street, I must say that the weather was not very friendly… It was drizzling and so cold that I had to hug myself tightly. Even though I had prepared a raincoat, I was still freezing. So I didn’t hesitate and sipped a cup of hot tea before continuing my walk. I felt that tea is my true friend on a day when the weather is unbearable. There are so many shops on this walking street. I walked around and around some alleys without realizing it. I stopped to try many things, but the most memorable one was the giant xiaolongbao, which they say you have to try… But to be honest, the taste was just so-so. I secretly liked the small ones more because there was less dough and the soup was just the right size, easy to eat and didn’t need to use a lot of techniques. Even though it was raining, the atmosphere at night was great. The lights were beautiful when turned on. The old buildings in the classic Chinese style were really magical. Their architecture was beautiful. It was pleasing to the eye and the photos were beautiful from every angle. This is another place that I felt that I had to walk around to really get into it because it had its own unique charm. Sharing my first-ever solo travel experience in Shanghai for 3 nights and 4 days. I visited various recommended spots such as The Bund, Wukang Mansion, Anfu Road, Yuyuan Pedestrian Street, Rock Bund, and the area around the Oriental Pearl Tower. Getting around was super convenient with the metro system that connects the entire city. Ticket prices start at just 2 yuan (about 10 baht), making transportation very affordable. Every restaurant I tried served delicious food—whatever I picked turned out to be tasty. While language might be a slight barrier, Google Translate and some hand gestures can help you communicate effectively. The locals are friendly and welcoming, often trying to converse with you. Even if they don't understand the language, they respond with smiles and laughter, making the interactions enjoyable.

📍Yuyuan Old Street: If you want to enjoy the nightlife in #Shanghai, this is the place to go! 🌃 It's within reach of #transittourism, and you can enjoy the Chinese atmosphere while filling your stomach. In one corner of the pedestrianized street, colorfully lit buildings reminiscent of ancient China are gathered, and the space is packed with gourmet food shops selling #xiaolongbao and sweets, as well as souvenir shops. There were also many girls walking around in #Hanfu.
