Tips & Tricks for Shooting:
The mist is intense! It can be so thick that it’ll get your clothes wet, so be prepared.
Wide-angle lens! If you want to capture the full grandeur, don’t forget to bring a wide-angle lens. I shot the first image using my phone's 0.5x wide-angle mode from the perimeter.
Bring an umbrella! If you want to take photos between the columns, an umbrella not only makes a great prop but also helps you avoid getting wet.
Winter evening lights: The lights usually come on around 6 PM.
Mist effect: The smoke only appears during the day; once the lights come on at night, the mist fades away.

"Chengdu Tower of Life" at SKP shopping mall
The six main pillars of SKP Chengdu are called landscape water pillars, "Tower of Life".
The six bamboo color-changing fountains are 26 meters and 39 meters high.
Made of aluminum alloy, the pillars have colored lights in the form of a ring. Compared with the traditional fountain that sprays water from the bottom up, the horizontal water flows naturally from top to bottom, which represents the water from the sky in the land of abundance.
The most striking thing is that at night, the ring water pillars will display four lighting modes: colorful gradients, flashing jumps, ring light bars, and the same color lights. The cycle changes every 15 minutes.

This is one of the newest attraction in Chengdu. Yes, I said attraction because of the “bamboo forest” as what they call them. They’re like tall pillars on the ground level of the sunken garden mall. It has a become one of the most go to places now in Chengdu as you can also shop until you drop and admire the beauty of its architecture. SKP mall has all the luxury brands you can think of.
It is also adjacent to Global center which is the largest building in floor size in the world.
