The Love Monument as it is known, in Spinola Bay is one of those things you will either love it or hate it. A lot of people wonder why the monument is upside down. The reason behind this weird inversion is for the word to be read upright in the waters reflection so as a modern art installation I think it’s kind of cool. #celebrateit #malta #mediterranean #modernart

You can still see hints of its fishing village days from some of the older more traditional buildings and from the traditional, brightly coloured Luzzu that you can still see in the bay. The surrounding area is surrounded by colorful buildings, and many yachts and boats are moored on the shore. Visitors can stroll along the bay, enjoy the beautiful sea view, and taste local delicacies in the surrounding restaurants, enjoying a pleasant time. - St. George's Square: An important public space in the area, the square is home to many open-air cafes, restaurants, and shops.
