When I went, there were a lot of starfish. There were not many tourists. Around the sea, there are rafts with a lot of seafood. The atmosphere is suitable. The beach is clean and not dirty. There are also lots of swings on the beach where you can chill. You have to access this place by a boat but definitely negotiate with the operator. I saw a lot of tourists carrying starfishes in their hand but I would advise not to do so as you shouldn’t touch marine animals. What is it like to visit Phu Quoc Island 🏝️ when it is close to the Chinese New Year? This morning, the sky was cloudless, so I simply rode a local rented motorcycle 🛵 to the Starfish Beach 🏝️ to explore the beautiful scenery. The last 2 kilometers of the road near the Starfish Beach 🏖️ are all yellow sand roads 🏜️, which are relatively difficult to walk on compared to asphalt roads; after arriving at the sea restaurant, I have to pay to transfer to a cruise ship 🚣 to go out to the sea to the Starfish Beach. After a while of traveling, all kinds of fatigue, after seeing the plump and shiny starfish, I instantly felt that this hard work was worth it [Joyful] Notes: 1. The round-trip boat fare is 200,000 Vietnamese Dong/person 2. Starfish will die if they leave the sea water. Please do not catch them on the shore, as they will be dried 3. It is more convenient to go there in slippers, and pay attention to sun protection 4. Local car rental is about 160,000-200,000/day

Phu Quic Island is a little Vietnamese paradise. I really enjoyed warm sea, peaceful beach, fresh fruit, traditional soup “Pho”. There are many places to visit, like themed parks, cable cars with amazing views, Starfish beach, night market etc. Also the prices there are very affordable. I had the cheapest sea view hotel ever! For a “recharging batteries chilly holiday” is a perfect place.

Actually, my personal theme for this trip to Phu Quoc was mermaids 🧜♀️ The beach that made me feel like a mermaid was Starfish Beach at the northern end of the island 🌟 . It was about an hour's drive from the center of the island, along a bumpy road, and just over a five-minute boat ride from the pier we arrived at. It's VND250,000 (about ¥1500) round trip for two people 💰 It's not impossible to walk there, but it was only 45 minutes each way, so I don't recommend it 🙃 The view was amazing from start to finish and it felt like it went by in a flash, but thinking about the way back made me despair, and when I negotiated the one-way fare it was VND200,000 for two people, so it was expensive 🥺 . There are a lot of starfish, but they're scattered, and if you touch them too much they'll die, so I brought a few more to where someone had lined them up nicely and increased the number of them with Photoshop 😂😂 . On the way back, the Grab driver was waiting for me, and he gave me a ride for the same price as on the way there, with no waiting fee 🚙 Starfish beach, VinWonders, and Grand World are an hour one way from the center, and it's about VND450-500k (~¥3000) by Grab. This restaurant is a water restaurant located near Starfish Beach. It is not exquisitely decorated, but it can enjoy a super local water dining experience. It is very courteous with several photo spots for guests to take pictures. The seafood here is super fresh and reasonably priced. It is really relaxing to see the scenery while dining. Visiting Starfish Beach on Phu Quoc Island was a delightful trip. The round trip cost around $20 by fast boat and took only 10 minutes to reach the beach. The pristine white sand and clear waters made for a perfect swimming experience, and the opportunity to take memorable photos with the starfish added a special touch to the visit. Overall, it was an enjoyable and affordable excursion. #phuquoc

The best beach in Phuo Quoc is in the Starfish Island. The water is clear and you will see a lot of starfish.. not so many tourists as well as it is quite hard to reach. You need to rent a bike because the location is quite far from the city and half of the road is not concrete. Then from the island you need to get a boat that will take you to the starfish beach.
