A very lux and magnificent mosque at Johor Bahru's city centre. Its got a really welcoming and relaxing ambience. Open to all visitors. However, those who are allowed to enter the mosque are limited to Muslims. The architecture of the mosque is very unique and modern. On the hill top so you can see it from any side. Parking lot is big enough, you can park on top of the hill, just beside the mosque or you can park at lower grounds or in between low land and the top. You can also go directly by walking to the mosque from street. The Islamic Center is at ground level and your left side and the mosque is at your right hand side on top of the hill. #johorbahrutrip An immaculate mosque with such an interesting style of architecture. Reminds me of old Melaka times style. The inside was sparse and there were a few people having a prayer. The ocean view besides the mosque was also quite eye-catching as it was literally looking at another country. Visited on a Friday, expected more from the mosque being managed by the Sultan family. The mosque isn't carpeted and is not air conditioned. But the fans make up for it, decent air flow. Highlight for this mosque would be that you'll get to meet the royals who come there for Jummah. Interesting experience indeed. Audio within the mosque needs improvement, only Khutbah had clear audio, the audio during the prayers seem to play outwards, so not very audible.
